ANNOUNCING H-AMINDIAN
H-NET LIST ON American Indian History and Studies

H-AMINDIAN is an edited international electronic mail forum for academics
to discuss topics in the various subjects that comprise American Indian
studies -- history, literature, anthropology, ethnography, and others, with
an emphasis on history.  The list will be very proactive - establishing a
discussion agenda (though not excluding other discussions), soliciting
bibliographical essays, organizing online seminars, and the like.

H-AMINDIAN is edited by graduate students in the Department of History at
Arizona State University, under the supervision of a local Managing Board
of faculty specialists and a postdoctoral research associate.  It is
advised by an international Editorial Board, and generously supported by
Arizona State University.  H-AMINDIAN is FREE and open to everyone with a
mature and abiding interest in American Indian history and studies:
Scholars, writers, teachers, and librarians professionally interested in
the subject are particularly invited to join.

ABOUT H-NET

H-AMINDIAN is owned by H-Net, an international network of scholars in the
humanities and social sciences that creates and coordinates electronic
networks, using a variety of media, and with a common objective of
advancing humanities and social science teaching and research.  H-Net was
created to provide a positive, supportive, equalitarian environment for the
friendly exchange of ideas and scholarly resources.  H-NET sponsors dozens
